As we progress towards the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) state, we play a key role in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 virus and in keeping ourselves safe. The Ministry of Health has advised the public to adhere to the 3Cs and 3Ws and continue observing the standard operating procedures (SOP).

Countries that choose to return to complete normalcy amidst the threat of COVID-19 stand a higher chance to experience a resurgence of the virus with tougher consequences. Nikkei Asian Review reports that several countries in Asia experienced this scenario: relaxation of SOPs resulted in a spike of new cases, forcing government to impose more stringent preventive measures.

It is crucial that everyone remain vigilant and comply with the SOP’S and advisories to ensure we win the fight against COVID-19 together. It is now up to us! Keeping the infections at bay is now in our hands, and TOGETHER we will prevail!
