KUALA LUMPUR, 16 MARCH 2020 – As a precautionary measure and in response to our Government’s effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) is implementing a remote working arrangement for all staff effective immediately. The escalation of the COVID-19 outbreak globally has led MHTC to reach this decision to minimise the risk of exposure and for MHTC staff to practice more vigilant social distancing.
MHTC prioritises safety for all and will continue to support Malaysia’s perseverance in managing the COVID-19 pandemic. We urge all staff, partners and stakeholders to practise preventive measures in keeping yourselves and your families safe by adhering to the recommended social distancing and hygiene standards shared by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
We remain committed to fulfilling our business operations and endeavour to perform our responsibilities with minimal disruptions. MHTC staff will remain contactable and available for meetings and engagements via alternative platforms. We greatly appreciate our stakeholders and partners for accommodating our change in working policy during this time.
