The 2019 Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) was identified by the World Health Organization as a global pandemic on 12″ March 2020. Malaysian authorities have been vigilant and have taken pre-emptive measures in managing the spread of Covid-19 since January 2020.
Dedicated to public health and national safety, Malaysia is prepared to face Covid-19 with our medical expertise, proper protocol and procedures in place. Our country’s strong foundation in pandemic preparedness has earned us our ranking as the 18″ worldwide in the Global Health Security Index as produced by the John Hopkins Centre for Health Security.
The provision of healthcare in Malaysia is closely regulated and governed by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MoH) and all our private hospitals comply with the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 and Private Healthcare Facilities Service Regulations 2006.
We believe that with Malaysia’s quality healthcare offerings and standard in hospitality, we will continue to see an encouraging inflow of healthcare travellers eager to experience Malaysia, the World’s Healthcare Marvel, in conjunction with Malaysia Year of Healthcare Travel 2020.
